“Make each day your masterpiece.” ~John Wooden
Today is a blank canvas waiting for you to paint your personal masterpiece onto it. It is your unfinished Sistine Chapel, your David and Mona Lisa. This very day is waiting to be fashioned and formed into something beautiful, breathtaking and sublime.
What colors will you dab onto your canvas? What shape will you mold your morning into? What beauty will you add to the work of art that this day, this hour and moment is for you?
If each day of your life was approached with that attitude, that each brush stroke was creating a breathtaking work of art, that each moment was your magnum opus, imagine what would happen to your life and relationships! How would you paint the love you express and forgiveness you extend, the faith you exercise, the determination you muster, the effort you rally, the passion that carries you over and through and throughout all you do?
A beautiful, breathtaking and sublime life it most certainly is.
Great Post Ken. Everyday can truly be a masterpiece. it’s not impossible…
I’m not there yet, but consciously trying to get there. Thank you.

Hey Neil, thanks for stopping by.
For me, I wouldn’t even focus on making every day a masterpiece. Life happens, right? But can I make today something much closer to a masterpiece? Or just the next three hours? By focusing on a smaller chunk of life, it suddenly becomes much easier, or at least less overwhelming. It helps me, anyway.
Take care, Neil. Good to see you here.
